CLT&E Benefit Funds
The history of the Contractors, Laborers, Teamsters and Engineers benefit plans can be traced back as far as 1962 when local contractor and labor representatives joined forces in establishing a Health & Welfare Plan for their employees/members.
While today’s contribution rate is considerably more than the seven and one-half cents in 1962, the mission is still clear; to provide organized labor a comprehensive benefit package that helps serve and protect the financial interests of individual members and their families.
Today the Health and Welfare program provides Health, Dental, Vision, Disability and Death benefits to over 1,000 individuals. Likewise, the Pension Plan is currently providing needed income to nearly 1,000 former members.
For specific information regarding each Plan, be sure to look through the Summary Plan Descriptions provided under the Plan Detail/Description tab.
The Trustees are proud of the hard work and positive impact organized labor brings to the construction industry both locally and afar. They are equally proud of the benefit package they are able to offer these same members.
In an effort to remain both effective and efficient while providing true personal service, the benefit programs are administered through the CLT&E Fund Office. To you, this means you can go straight to the source for information. Please contact the CLT&E Fund Office if you have any questions or comments.
As always, respectfully,
CLT&E Board of Trustees
